Hoi Hup Realty Pte Ltd’s JV with Sunway Group has successfully secured the coveted EC site at Canberra Link. The keenly participated tender closed on the 4th of Sept, drawing a total of 9 bidders in all with Hoi Hup Sunway submitting the highest bid of S$271m, or S$558.22 psf. The 18,040.6sqm site can yield up to a maximum GFA of 45,101.5sqm. The site provides a rare opportunity to develop a luxury EC development within 300m of an MRT station, the upcoming Canberra MRT Station. There will also be a new 11,000 sqm, three-storey Canberra Plaza opening next to Canberra Station. The site is also well served by the new 12 hectare Sembawang Integrated Hub situated just across Canberra Link. Bukit Canberra will provide amenities such as a hawker centre, indoor and outdoor sport facilities, a polyclinic, a senior care centre, green spaces for community farming and lifestyle related amenities for the community. It will also see the largest ActiveSG gym with indoor and outdoor pools.
